About eldec
eldec Induction GmbH was founded in 1982 in the Black Forest and specializes in induction heating. The mid-sized, owner-managed company manufactures with a high degree of in-house production depth induction generators (PICO, PICO EEI², ECO-LINE EEI², SYSTEM-LINE, CUSTOM-LINE, RACK-LINE), induction hardening machines of the MIND series (S to XL), heating systems (UNI HEAT, HEAT STATION) as well as inductors, annealing cables and soldering guns. Applications include induction hardening, induction brazing and soldering, joining and loosening, stress-relief annealing and preheating with outputs from 5 kW to 3,000 kW in frequency ranges from 2 to 400 kHz, including the patented SDF® generators (Simultaneous Dual Frequency). eldec finds customers in industries such as automotive/e-mobility, aerospace, power plant engineering, agricultural and construction machinery, mechanical engineering, heating technology and electronics. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers technology consulting, FEM-based process simulation, commissioning, training as well as after-sales service and retrofits. Headquarters and manufacturing are located in Dornstetten, complemented by subsidiaries in Taicang (China) and Bloomfield Hills (USA). Manufacturing includes inductors made of copper as well as 3D-SLM-printed components.
