About Electrochem Silicones
Electrochem Silicones develops, produces and distributes worldwide hoses, profiles and semi-finished products made from Ultra-Performance silicones, TPE, EVA and TPV for the healthcare, pharmaceutical, laboratory as well as food and beverage industries. Its expertise in HCE chemistry dates back to 1972; the product range comprises more than 1,000 formulations, including OEM and custom compounds, platinum- and peroxide-cured HCR silicones (Shore hardness 35–80 ShA) as well as specialty grades such as oil-resistant ORCOSIL® siloxanes, radiopaque coextrusion hoses and latex-free TPE (Elye LT®). Manufacturing covers compounding, masterbatch production, extrusion, calendering and compression moulding in a controlled production environment with in/on-line laser dimensional and quality control. The sales and R&D site is Frankfurt am Main, while production takes place in Sindos near Thessaloniki, Greece; all raw materials and products originate from the EU. Customer industries include medical technology, pharmaceuticals, laboratory technology, the dairy and food industry, rail transport, construction, automotive (turbocharger hoses) as well as army and navy.
