Elektro Horstmann GmbH is an electrical engineering specialist company and family business based in Osnabrück since 1989, organized into the Electrical Competence and Domestic Appliances Service Center divisions. The Electrical Competence division carries out electrical installations in industry, residential construction and municipal facilities, including industrial plant construction, switchgear cabinet and switchgear system construction, data cabling, lighting systems, smart home and KNX systems, photovoltaic connections, battery storage and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. A specialist area is signal and traffic engineering for road traffic and inland waterway transport, including traffic light systems, barriers and signal systems. The range of services is complemented by DGUV3 testing, energy consulting as well as customer service and maintenance. The Service Center sells, delivers, connects and repairs electrical domestic appliances. The company employs 44 staff, including eight master electricians and ten apprentices.
