Elektro-Mechanik EM GmbH (EMG) is a family-owned company founded in 1980 and headquartered in Velbert, North Rhine-Westphalia. The company specializes in the development, production and sale of short-circuit indicators, earth-fault indicators, voltage indicators and voltage testers for medium-voltage networks. The product range includes fault indicators for underground cable and overhead line networks, sensors for short-circuit and earth-fault detection, remote signaling systems as well as accessories such as flashing lamps. The products are developed in close cooperation with customers and are sold to network operators, switchgear manufacturers and the private industry in more than 30 countries worldwide. A quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, certified by TÜV SÜD, accompanies development and production.
