About Us

Elektro Mechanik Sonnenschein GmbH (EMS) plans and develops efficient heating and drying systems with intelligently combined measurement technology for quality assurance, control and process monitoring. The company delivers turnkey machines and systems for heating and drying applications that are integrated into existing production lines, as well as complete production lines with application, drying, cooling and conveying systems. Heat sources used include infrared radiation, convection air, contact heat and induction, with various energy sources such as electricity, gas, hot water and thermal oil. The systems are used in processes involving wet paints, powder coatings, adhesive applications, mineral materials (stone, concrete), fiber materials, bulk goods and customer-specific materials. To ensure process reliability as early as the planning stage, EMS carries out product-specific tests in its own laboratory under production-like conditions. Founded in 1999 as a provider of electrical engineering, measurement technology, programming and switchgear construction, the company expanded its activities in 2003 to test rig construction for rail and automotive and in 2004 to heating and drying systems.
