About EME
The Elektro-Metall Export GmbH (EME) is a manufacturer of electromechanical aircraft components, established in 1952, serving the international commercial and military aviation industry. The portfolio includes linear and rotary actuators and drive systems with control and power units, as well as sensors, pressure and temperature switches, joysticks, stick shakers and electrical cable harnesses. The value chain extends from engineering with design, structural and stress analysis, thermal analysis and technical documentation, through rapid prototyping (additive manufacturing, CNC machining), to series production in large, small and single-unit quantities. In addition, EME offers repair and maintenance under EASA Part 145 in Ingolstadt as well as worldwide spare parts and AOG support. Production takes place at the headquarters in Ingolstadt (mechanics) and at the subsidiary Elektro-Metall Paks Kft. in Hungary (cable harnesses, EASA Part 21G). Customers include Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Diehl and Cassidian; EME is a subsidiary of TransDigm Group Inc.
