About us
elektro point GmbH was founded in Duisburg in 2006 by Markus Mollus and, operating as Schiffs-Point.de, specializes in ship repair, maintenance and marine electrics. Its range of services covers the planning, installation and maintenance of electrical systems on board, modernization of electrical equipment, repair of ship engines as well as repairs of hull damage and deck equipment. A workboat with crane is available for heavy on-site work; a truck with crane and driver can be rented for projects. Managing director Markus Mollus is a master electrician and an expert appointed by the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSV). Customers include, among others, the Meiderich shipyard, the NRW Waterways and Shipping Office, the Bavarian shipyard in Erlenbach am Main, Thyssen & Krupp AG, Rhenus Logistics and the Weiße Flotte Duisburg. The company serves inland vessels, cargo ships, passenger ships and yachts from its workshop in Duisburg.
