Elektro Schmid GmbH is a family business founded in 1945 and a master-certified electrical contractor based in Manching near Ingolstadt. The company, with around 20 employees including several master electricians, fitters and apprentices, offers electrical installations and building services for commercial and industrial customers as well as private clients. History
- 1945
Hans Schmid opened a shop at Bergstraße 24 in Manching with his wife, offering small and large electrical appliances, household goods, installations and repairs; shortly afterwards he employed a few journeymen.
- 1965
After the death of Hans Schmid, his son Richard Schmid took over the business and continued to expand it.
- 1991
Richard Schmid jun. joined the business to support his father; the service portfolio was continuously expanded.
