About us
Elektromaschinenbau Peter Piffka is a sole proprietorship founded in 1989 in Weilheim i.OB, specialising in the repair, overhaul and rewinding of electric motors. In its own workshop, all brands (including VEM, AEG, Siemens) are overhauled, DC armatures are rewound (up to 500 kW) and three-phase windings up to 1000 kW are manufactured. The value chain includes an in-house winding shop, motor cleaning and drying in a drying oven, computer-aided electronic balancing with a balancing report, shaft alignment with a laser device, servo motor service with encoder testing as well as electrical testing (E-testing). In addition, the company offers on-site service including bearing measurement and evaluation, express repairs via an emergency phone on weekends and public holidays, special machine construction, new motor sales including conversions and spare parts sales. Its customers include renowned companies from the manufacturing industry, especially from drive technology. The team consists of the owner couple plus three master craftsmen, four journeymen, one apprentice and two temporary helpers.
