Elektromotorenwerk Grünhain GmbH (EMGR), based in Grünhain-Beierfeld in the Erzgebirge region, develops and manufactures electric motors and efficient drive concepts for a wide variety of applications and sectors. Another focus is on drive solutions for electromobility, for which the company implements modern concepts for various means of transport. The portfolio is complemented by an in-house aluminium die-casting foundry that manufactures custom die-cast components. The company looks back on more than 70 years of experience in electric motor manufacturing and combines this expertise with state-of-the-art metrology and qualified staff. Customised solutions are also developed at short notice. EMGR is a company of Deutsche Elektromotoren Holding GmbH and, in addition to its headquarters in Saxony, operates a plant in Gabrovo, Bulgaria (EMGR AD).
