About Elektroplanet
Elektroplanet AG, headquartered in Hittnau (Canton of Zurich), has specialised in emergency lighting since 2004. The company supplies electrical planners, architects and electrical installers with emergency lighting systems, safety luminaires and escape sign luminaires – from central battery systems and wireless systems to single-battery luminaires. The portfolio comprises over 250 products, including escape sign luminaires to DIN EN 60598-1/2-22 and DIN EN 1838, safety power supply systems to DIN EN 50171 as well as monitoring centres to DIN EN 62034. In addition to distribution, Elektroplanet accompanies projects throughout their entire life cycle: emergency lighting planning, delivery, commissioning, maintenance with capacity testing and inspection report, fault rectification as well as LUX measurements. In 2024, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary, the siblings Ranin and Karim Marey took over the management. Since 2012, the company has operated its own commercial building in Hittnau with a showroom, server room and freight forwarding operation, and delivers throughout Switzerland.
