About elementarhy
elementarhy develops and produces membrane electrode assemblies (e|MEA), the elementary core component of PEM electrolysers for the generation of green hydrogen. The fully customised, 5-layer MEAs – optionally 7-layer with integrated sealing – use ultra-thin catalysts with a 20-fold reduced iridium usage as well as a PFAS-free, recyclable catalyst. The offering includes custom manufacturing at the kW to MW scale as well as mass production at the MW to GW scale. In addition, the company offers software and configuration solutions for electrolyser architecture (PEM, AEM, CO2), Electrolyser Management with real-time monitoring, AI-supported operational optimisation, and raw material recycling for all products. On 40 in-house test benches, customers' electrodes and components are tested; every MEA is 100 % performance-tested before delivery and shipped plug-and-play. Customers are electrolyser manufacturers and operators of green hydrogen production. The company is headquartered in Hamburg and operates an Innovation Center in Greifswald.
