About elero

elero GmbH Antriebstechnik, based in Schlierbach near Stuttgart, develops and manufactures electric tubular motors and venetian blind motors, roller shutter and door/gate drives, controls, sensors and radio components as well as smart home solutions for intelligent building technology. Founded in 1964, the company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Italian Nice Group and, since 2021, has coordinated all activities in the solar shading market within the Group as the Sun Shading Solutions business division. A second business division in Pößneck (Thuringia) develops and manufactures electric linear actuators for façade construction and pergolas, solar technology, agricultural technology and industry. Development, production, quality inspection and assembly take place in Germany; in 2017 a new company building covering 16,600 m² was erected in Schlierbach. In addition to its own brands, elero manufactures OEM drives, control systems and custom product solutions for international customers, including exports with CCC certification (China) and UL approval (USA). The products are sold via specialist trade and sales representatives in over 30 countries.
