About us
Elio Sangiorgio SA is a granite operation in Lodrino in Ticino that has been supplying material for the construction of roads and road surfaces throughout Switzerland since the 1930s. Granite is extracted in the company's own quarry on Monte Generoso; the raw blocks prepared for processing are divided into four quality classes and have been sold directly for over 30 years. The range also includes road construction material, wall stones (Sassi da muro) including special sizes made to customer specifications, natural stone for buildings and facades, as well as garden and landscaping with natural stone. From an exhibited block, the company manufactures individual fountains on request. Projects have included the granite facade "Fiore di pietra" on Monte Generoso, a facade in Germany, a facade in Shanghai, the Stele in Granito, the Sursee fountain "Platz zur Farb" and a fountain for the Residenza Visagno. The company delivers with its own fleet of vehicles in Switzerland and worldwide and grants a lifetime guarantee on the granite. Visits to the operation are possible on request.
