About Elke Freytag Wien
Elke Freytag Wien is a fashion label and atelier store at Lindengasse 14 in Vienna's 7th district. Since 2004, the owner, who previously worked as an architect, has been designing womenswear with clean lines – a focus on proportion, structure and cut shapes the creations. Every model is developed in-house, from the first sketch to the prototype in the atelier. One-of-a-kind pieces are made directly in the atelier, while small editions are produced together with selected partner businesses; the quantities remain deliberately small. The fabrics come from carefully curated stocks of already produced materials and are selected according to structure, drape and character – an approach in the spirit of slow fashion. The pieces are available directly in the atelier store, in the online shop and on request.
