About Elko Verbindungstechnik

Elko Verbindungstechnik GmbH from Kirchheim am Neckar is a specialist in electrical connection technology and cable assembly. The company assembles cables and connectors into custom systems and cable sets that are used primarily in mechanical engineering, drive technology and the automotive industry. On around 2,000 m² of production space, more than 35 employees produce up to 2,000 ready-to-connect cables as well as 100 assemblies and trolleys per week. Production includes crimping stamped contacts on stripper crimpers, crimping turned contacts on vibration crimpers, automated screwdriving, and electrical testing of the assemblies on a PLC test system. With more than 40,000 connector components and over 90,000 m of cable in stock, as well as an automated storage system, shorter response times are achieved. In February 2025, Elko Verbindungstechnik GmbH was acquired by Igus GmbH (Cologne) in order to expand assembly capacity in drive technology and serve customers in southern Germany even better.
