Elm Stahl Spezialprofilhandel GmbH is a group-independent trading house for hot-rolled and cold-profiled special profiles based in Dinslaken. The product range comprises special profiles that are generally available from stock or at short notice, as well as custom special profiles produced to customer specifications: cold-profiled to EN 10162 or formed by bending to DIN 6930 + 6935. In addition, the company brokers hot-rolled special profiles in which profile shape, tolerances and quantities are implemented within the technical capabilities of the manufacturers. Special profiles enable the shape and cross-section design to be adapted to the stresses in the component, so that elaborate forming and machining operations can be dispensed with; the advantages are a largely waste-free use of material, an uninterrupted grain flow, and high dimensional and shape accuracy. Customers come from, among other sectors, automotive engineering, container construction, wagon building, racking systems, tank and container construction, pallet construction, mechanical engineering and structural steelwork. The company provides advice on technical and economic aspects in cooperation with its suppliers and maintains supply relationships with leading European manufacturers.
