ELMAKO GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed, medium-sized family company headquartered in Iffezheim in south-west Germany. Founded in 1972, the company manufactures prototypes, single parts and series parts as well as complex assemblies made of aluminium, steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, titanium, plastics and carbon. Production encompasses CNC milling (3- and 5-axis, up to 2,300 x 1,800 mm), CNC turning, laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, die-sinking EDM and 3D bending of extruded profiles. In addition, control cabinets to VDE standards, printed circuit boards, PLC controls as well as special machines, assembly and testing workstations, loading systems and galvanizing lines are developed and built. Customers include the automotive and rail vehicle industries, aerospace, the defence industry, medical and training equipment, electronics manufacturing and the galvanizing industry. With its own medical device CRYOLIGHT® for CO₂ cryotherapy, ELMAKO also manufactures a certified device under its own responsibility. The company employs 75 staff on a 12,000 m² site in the Iffezheim industrial park.
