ELMEC is a Dutch specialised company for lifting and drive technology based in Belfeld (Limburg), with around 50 years of experience as the DEMAG specialist of the Netherlands. The company supplies and installs cranes and hoists including customer-specific solutions as well as drive components for travelling, hoisting, positioning and slewing. Its own electrical engineering department implements complete control systems, modifications and retrofits of existing crane installations, complemented by service and repair of radio remote controls (ARC, TELETEC, SAGA, DEMAG) including frequency spectrum analysis. With more than 40 specialists, over 20 of them certified service fitters, ELMEC performs inspections, maintenance, inspection, certification, repair and overhaul of cranes, hoists, hydraulic tools, climbing equipment, fall protection and NEN3140 work equipment. In addition, the company offers residual life analyses (SWP according to FEM 9.755, NEN-EN 13001, crack testing/NDT, deflection measurement), its in-house developed residual life monitor Crane-Insight, the digital inspection management system IM-Sys, training courses via the ELMEC Academy, a 24/7 breakdown service and a webshop with 15,000 DEMAG spare parts in stock. Customers include, among others, Oceanco, Voestalpine, Wikam, Toverland, DAF, VDL and SIF. Service is provided in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
