ELMOT GmbH is a family-run craft business for electrical machine engineering with premises at Mertener Str. 1a in Cologne. The company started in the 1950s with the repair of small appliances and electric motors; cleaning machines were added later. Since 2007 the business has been located at its current site in the heart of Cologne. Today the focus is on the repair and overhaul of elevator drives and generators; pumps, fan drives, gear motors and brake motors are also serviced. The service portfolio includes winding manufacture and installation, bearing replacement, repair of bearing seats and plain bearings, sandblasting, painting and powder coating, custom manufacture of individual and spare parts, as well as damage diagnosis and troubleshooting in plant control systems. In addition, ELMOT performs inspections according to DGUV-V3, DGUV-V52 and DGUV-V208, operates service workshops for Mecc Alte generators and Pramac gensets, and sells electric motors, generators, frequency inverters and accessories.
