About ELO-FROST

Since 1974, ELO-FROST GmbH & Co. KG has processed and distributed frozen fruit and vegetables. Originally established under the umbrella of the parent company Erzeugergroßmarkt Langförden-Oldenburg (ELO), the company was founded in 2000 as an independent subsidiary with new, modern production buildings. At the Vechta-Langförden site, the shareholders – mostly farmers – operate two high-performance production lines for frozen processing. The focus is on spinach and kale from the company's own contract cultivation; the product range comprises around 50 items, supplemented by purchased goods from other producers. Since 1995, the company has also processed organic fruit and vegetables and today offers almost its entire range in organic quality. 85 percent of raw materials come from less than 20 kilometres away. In addition to its own brands, ELO-FROST offers services such as contract freezing and copacking – from smallest quantities to large orders. Customers come from food retail, the food industry and the frozen food sector.
