About Eloma
Eloma GmbH is a manufacturer of combi steamers, bake-off ovens and convection ovens for the professional kitchen. Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Maisach near Munich, the company initially developed chicken roasting machines and later its own combi steamer and oven product lines. The product portfolio includes GENIUS MT, MULTIMAX, the compact JOKER and the bake-off oven BACKMASTER. In-house developments such as the fresh steam system (boiler and direct injection in one), the multi-eco heat recovery system and the automatic cleaning system autoclean® are standard features of the units. According to the company, production is 100 percent in Germany: production, administration and logistics are bundled at Plant 1 in Maisach, and since 2002 a second plant has been producing in Bad Gottleuba in Saxony. Customers in North America are served through Eloma USA based in Vernon Hills, Illinois; exports go worldwide. Customers include gastronomy, catering, bakeries, petrol stations, supermarkets, canteens and healthcare foodservice. Since 2008, Eloma GmbH has been part of the Ali Group from Milan.
