Eloxal GmbH is a contract manufacturer specialising in the surface treatment of aluminium, located in Au in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, Switzerland. Its range of services includes anodising (technical and decorative, coloured or natural), electropolishing, the chromium-VI-free conversion coating SurTec 650 (chromitAL TCP) and glass bead blasting for stainless steel, castings, aluminium and non-ferrous metals. Anodising is carried out using the DC process with a sulphuric acid electrolyte; for µm-precise requirements, dimensionally accurate anodising (removal equal to build-up) is performed after prior dimensional inspection. The newly built production facilities were commissioned in 2023. Customers come from fine and precision mechanics, medical technology, mechanical and apparatus engineering, the defence industry, and optical and metrology technology; for applications in electrical engineering, electric motors, mechanical engineering, automotive and aerospace, SurTec 650 serves as an adhesion base for paints and adhesives. The company offers short lead times with delivery within 24 hours by arrangement, individual packaging and, on request, direct delivery to end customers in neutral packaging.

Electrolytic oxidation of aluminium using the DC process with sulphuric acid electrolyte; layer thickness 3–25 µm, surface hardness HV > 200.
Electropolishing
Electrochemical removal of a thin layer of material for burr-free, bright and hygienically clean surfaces in the micro range.
SurTec 650 chromitAL TCP
Chromium-VI-free, transparent conversion layer as corrosion protection and adhesion base for paints, powder coatings and adhesives.
Glass bead blasting
Blasting with lead-free glass beads (0.2–2.5 mm) for satin-matte surfaces on stainless steel, castings, aluminium and non-ferrous metals.

Base material for anodising in anodising quality, electropolishing and SurTec 650.

Suitable for glass bead blasting; iron-free process also available for special steels.
