About Elpro
Elpro GmbH, based in Berlin, is a provider of control and electrical power solutions with the business areas Energy Distribution & Infrastructure, Process Industry, and Products & Manufacturing. In its own production facility in Berlin-Marzahn, around 1,000 control cabinets are produced per year on 4,000 square metres, including DC switchgear systems for rail and local public transport systems, low-voltage switchgear and drive systems. The service portfolio covers consulting, engineering, planning and implementation, installation and commissioning as well as maintenance, servicing, on-call duty and spare parts management. Elpro has supplied, among other things, 500 rectifier substations for rail and local public transport systems and equipped 40 substations of the Berlin S-Bahn. Customers include DB Energie GmbH, Jenaer Nahverkehr GmbH and operators of power generation and heat generation plants; Deutsche Bahn awarded Elpro a top supplier rating in 2025. Own products such as the KUB2 compact module for cable monitoring complement the offering.
