About Elstead Lighting
Elstead Lighting is a British company based in Alton, Hampshire, that has been manufacturing and distributing decorative luminaires since 1969. The range comprises interior lighting (chandeliers, pendant lights, wall lights), outdoor lighting, bathroom lighting and ceiling fans for residential spaces, hospitality projects and architectural applications. At the Alton headquarters, a small manufacturing operation in the traditional English style is run: wrought iron and painted metal luminaires are produced using classic welding and hand patination, complemented by modern CNC machining and an in-house shade-making studio for custom shades. A dedicated factory (Elstead Asia) specialises in plated and solid brass luminaires; in addition, the group draws on more than 50 Asian partner factories, also for white-label manufacturing and special finishes. Conversion of US products to 220–240V as well as distribution for partner brands such as Feiss, Hinkley, Kichler, Norlys and Quintiesse round off the value creation. Sales locations are located in the UK, Poland, France, Germany (Arnsberg), Ireland and Dubai; customers in more than 50 countries are served.
