About eltherm
eltherm GmbH, headquartered in Burbach in the southern Siegerland region, is a manufacturer of electric heat tracing systems for freeze protection, temperature maintenance and industrial process heating. At its headquarters, the company develops and manufactures heating cables (self-regulating, series, parallel), mineral-insulated MI heating cables with Clean Laser Seal technology, heated pressure and analytical hoses, heating mats, heating and insulation jackets, gas cylinder and drum heaters, as well as measurement, control and connection technology. Materials used include nickel-plated copper, fluoropolymer (PTFE, PFA, FEP), silicone, stainless steel 1.4541, nickel/chromium Alloy 825 and magnesium oxide insulation. The production area at the headquarters covers 15,000 m²; since 2019, a further production site in Calgary (Canada) has been manufacturing MI heating cables. The company, with around 300 employees and 13 locations on five continents, has been part of INDUS Holding AG since 2013 and provides engineering, design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of complete heat tracing systems, among others for the chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, power generation, semiconductor and large-scale plant construction industries.
