About Elysium Industries
Elysium Industries GmbH develops, produces and distributes passive exoskeletons and orthoses made of carbon fiber composite material. The company, based in Weßling near Munich, offers ultra-light soft exoskeletons that can train, improve or reactivate human movement – for example to reduce disabilities, accelerate rehabilitation, or assist in sports and leisure. The products made of complex composite materials have sensory capabilities and interact with human anatomy; a companion app with sensors and feedback (Elysium App) as well as Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) expand the possible applications. Development is based on computer-aided simulations and tests under real conditions in early project phases. In 2025, carbon ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs) were tested together with the Biomechanics Institute IBMS of Offenburg University and Sporlastic GmbH & Co. KG, including connective orthoses. The company operates in the fields of MedTech/orthopedic technology, rehabilitation as well as sports and performance.
