About us
EM-A Behälter-Apparatebau GmbH is a certified welding company based in Lübeck with many years of experience in pressure vessel, piping, apparatus and plant construction. Based on customers' design and production drawings, it produces technically sophisticated products made of structural steel and high-alloy steel, including pressure vessels, pressure piping, apparatuses as well as frames, platforms and stairs with railings. For shipping and the navy, the company manufactures complete and partial systems for filtration, separation, fuel treatment, oil removal and dewatering. In addition, EM-A GmbH offers surface treatment: for steel, sandblasting Sa 2.5, corrosion protection and paint coating; for stainless steel, pickling, passivation, glass bead blasting, electropolishing and paint coating. Repairs to equipment subject to monitoring requirements are carried out in close cooperation with the experts of notified bodies, who also perform construction and pressure tests upon request. The company is certified by TÜV-Nord and DNV-GL and supplies customers in northern Germany and throughout Europe.
