About EmAI Robotics
EmAI Robotics GmbH, based in Saarbrücken, is a manufacturer-independent consulting partner for Physical AI and cognitive robotics. The company does not manufacture components; instead, it supports industrial and mid-sized companies in getting started with robotics: through strategic consulting including potential analysis and roadmap, hands-on testing of cognitive robots in real industrial environments, and workshops on use-case validation, robotics strategy and VLA fine-tuning (OpenVLA, Pi-0, RT-X) including sim-to-real transfer. In addition, EmAI provides manufacturer-independent performance data on cognitive robots, such as success rates, cycle times and energy consumption from standardized tests. The focus is on sovereign AI: open models, edge and on-premise operation, data sovereignty in accordance with GDPR, and security in accordance with the EU AI Act and the Machinery Regulation. The company is funded exclusively through consulting, testing and workshops, not through hardware sales or manufacturer commissions. Since June 1, 2026, EmAI has been a member of the EastSideFab Innovation Community.
