About the testing laboratory
EMC-Testcenter AG in Regensdorf is a nationally (SAS) and internationally (IECEE) accredited testing laboratory for electromagnetic compatibility, electrical safety and photobiological safety. The safety laboratory specializes in the device categories IT equipment, medical technology and laboratory equipment including IVD, and performs both acceptance testing and pre-tests prior to certification testing. The EMC laboratory has two absorber halls with accredited 3-meter and 10-meter test sites, which can be used to test local and international requirements — in particular also for Korea and Japan. Further services include radio approval testing in accordance with RED (including WLAN, BLE, GSM, RFID, NFC), SAS-accredited sound emission measurements, determination of energy consumption, climate conditioning and calibrations. Since 2025, the company has been accredited as an NCB and issues CB certificates from Regensdorf. As the only CB-accredited laboratory for photobiological safety testing in Switzerland, the company supports manufacturers in minimizing logistical effort and certification risks.
