About EMH Group

EMH Group, headquartered in Essen, is a corporate group whose core areas are precious metal recycling, precious metal trading and secure safekeeping, and it complements its physical business with financial news and capital market analyses. The heart of the group is the EMH Service refinery in the Ruhr region, which specialises in modern precious metal recycling processes. In addition to thermal processes, the focus is on hydrometallurgy: in small, specially developed reactors, even small quantities and problematic waste are separated economically, in particular for the recovery of platinum group metals from dental gold and jewellery alloys. At the end of the process, the precious metals are in pure form and are returned to the value cycle as sponge, granules or homogeneous industrial bars. State-of-the-art laboratory technology enables largely closed material loops with reduced energy consumption. The group serves industry, commerce as well as the dental and jewellery sectors.
