Emil Frey AG is a family-run Swiss automotive retail group founded in 1924, headquartered at Badenerstrasse 600 in Zurich. The company sells new cars and inspected used vehicles of numerous brands – including Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel, Lexus, Toyota, Piaggio, Peugeot, Kia, BMW and MINI – across multiple locations in Switzerland. Core services include brand workshops with genuine spare parts, body shop and paint shop, tire service with tire hotel, breakdown assistance, car detailing as well as leasing, financing, car subscription (Emil Frey Move) and car rental (Toyota RENT, Hertz). In addition, the Emil Frey Autocenters in Safenwil (19 brands) and Zurich North as well as used car centers in Münsingen (approx. 180 vehicles) and Dübendorf-Gfenn (approx. 250 vehicles) operate large-scale sales facilities. The foundation of the business is the so-called Customer Letter of 1935, which establishes quality, service and fair prices as corporate principles.
