Emil Kreiskott GmbH Maschinenfabrik develops and manufactures custom special gearboxes for use in crane systems, bulk handling and conveying technology as well as steel mill technology. The portfolio includes bucket wheel gearboxes, grab hoisting and closing gear gearboxes, hoisting gearboxes as spur-planet gearboxes, crab travel gearboxes as well as slewing gear and bucket elevator gearboxes for ship loading and unloading systems. The gearbox housings are produced as stress-relief annealed steel welded constructions; in addition, open-die forged drum shafts are manufactured. Alongside gearbox production, the company has been producing electric motors since 1947 and, as Cococo, also contract manufacturing of precision gears. Around 30 employees cover the entire process from design and manufacturing to assembly and final inspection at the Wuppertal site. Customers include steelworks such as ThyssenKrupp Steel Brazil and Hadeed in Saudi Arabia.
