About EMPO-NI
EMPO-NI off-grid solutions was founded in 2008 and specializes in the development and production of PV-powered, MPP-controlled solar equipment and complete systems for off-grid applications, manufactured in Germany. The product range includes Solar Direct Drives for three-phase asynchronous motors up to 5.5 kW, MPPT charge controllers, solar-powered oil presses from 0.374 kW to 5.5 kW, irrigation and desalination systems, solar cooking systems, as well as the SOLmini module series with integrated battery charge controller from 8 V to 60 V. The engineering team has experience in power electronics, control engineering, DSP and FPGA programming as well as analog and digital circuit design using modern CAD, simulation and rapid prototyping tools. In addition, the company offers custom developments, application engineering support, system integration, and Pay-As-You-Go and GSM-based remote control and monitoring solutions. The headquarters are located in Düsseldorf, connected to international high-tech companies and universities.
