About Empteezy
Empteezy GmbH was a company of the Empteezy Group (today Emtez), founded in 1986, initially based in Düsseldorf and from 2023 in Berlin. Its purpose was the production and sale of environmental protection and safety products, in particular for the handling, storage and containment of hazardous substances. The group predominantly manufactures in-house — including steel products at the Empteezy Iberica production facility in Barcelona as well as plastic spill containment trays produced by rotational moulding through its sister company Romold. According to the company, more than 80 percent of its products are designed, developed and manufactured in-house, predominantly from high-quality European materials such as steel and plastic. On 16.04.2024, Empteezy GmbH was merged into Emtez GmbH (formerly Schoeller Industries GmbH) and was deleted from the commercial register on 24.04.2024.
