Acquisition of a competitor; BAYER AG Wuppertal becomes a customer; 35 employees; move into the company's own office building in Marl.

Death of owner Karlheinz Bohne; the company remains family-owned (Gerda Bohne 98 %, Michael Bohne 2 %); Friedhelm Symalla sole managing director; first certification to DIN EN ISO 9001 in April.

Establishment of a company pension scheme (support fund); Uwe Meyer-Drabert is granted power of attorney.
