About Emsoplast
EMS FVK-Profile GmbH, based in Lathen in the Emsland region, is a specialist in the manufacture of custom profiles made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP). The core process is pultrusion, used to produce special profiles to customer specifications – individual colouring is also possible. In addition to profile production, the company offers design, development and simulation of GRP components as well as mechanical further processing and machining of the profiles on CNC machines. The profiles are characterised by low weight, high strength, corrosion and chemical resistance as well as electrical and thermal insulation, and are used in more than 15 industries, including the electrical industry, chemicals, plant engineering, mechanical engineering, wind power, medical technology, and the automotive and construction industries. The 20,000 m² factory site offers 6,500 m² of production space; around 1,800 profile types are produced over 365 production days. An in-house testing laboratory and an ERDF-funded defect detection process ensure product quality. The company delivers worldwide and is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001.
