About Emsodur
Emsodur AG, based in Domat/Ems in Switzerland, develops and produces plastic-based blasting media for deburring and blasting applications. The products are used worldwide in the thermoset, rubber, plastics and non-ferrous metal industries, among other things for cryogenic deburring, thermoset deburring, blasting of thermoset and metal parts, and cleaning with plastic blasting media. The blasting media is continuously produced anew from high-quality raw materials and is cut cubical or cylindrical; characteristic features are impact strength, abrasion resistance, dimensional stability and long service life with low dust generation. The product range includes, among others, Emsodur LT, Emsodur C and Emsodur S for cryogenic deburring, Emsodur N, Emsodur GV and Emsodur Mikro for thermoset deburring, as well as Emsodur Urea, Emsodur Melamin and Emsodur Acryl as plastic blasting media. An in-house research and development department implements customer-specific granulates, such as the fine-grained Emsodur MICRO for deburring small die-cast and electrical parts. Customers are supported by experienced specialist teams in product and type selection as well as in technical applications.
