About EMUK
EMUK GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company based in Ringsheim (Baden-Württemberg) that has been developing and manufacturing caravan auxiliary mirrors and accessories for caravans and motorhomes since 1984. Founded as Emmendinger Metal and Plastics Works, the company initially supplied special parts for mechanical engineering as a supplier to the automotive industry, before the focus shifted to vehicle-specific special caravan mirrors. The mirror brackets are made of vibration-damping cast aluminium and are powder-coated; the in-house powder coating has been part of the value chain since 2012. The product range is complemented by universal mirrors, air-lift jack cushions, spare parts and other camping accessories. In 2024, production moved to an enlarged production and warehouse building with administration in the Ringsheim industrial park; in 2025, the EMUK Village was created, a business park covering 5,000 sqm with production, offices and a camping store. With more than 40 employees, EMUK supplies dealers and end customers in Europe and the USA.

Powder coating

- 1984
Start as Emmendinger Metal and Plastics Works; supplier to the automotive industry; development of the first special caravan mirror for the Mercedes 190 (W 201).
- 2009
Conversion into a public limited company (Aktiengesellschaft); manufacture of special and universal caravan mirrors in Germany and abroad.
- 2012
Change of management, renaming to GmbH & Co. KG; establishment of an in-house powder coating facility.
- 2017
Relocation of the production facility to Lahr in the Black Forest; opening of a store for camping and water sports supplies.
