EMZ Messeveranstaltungs UG (haftungsbeschränkt) based in Munich is the organizer of NUMISMATA, an international coin fair that has existed since 1970. What began as a gathering of local collectors in a 400 m² side room of the Löwenbräukeller in Munich has developed into one of Europe's most renowned numismatic fairs. The event brings together over 300 exhibitors – including coin and banknote dealers, auction houses, mints, precious metal dealers, accessory providers, and specialist publishers – and attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world. In addition to the fairs in Munich and Berlin, the company offers services related to the specialized coin trade as well as sponsorship and advertising spaces. Since December 2024, Elena and Manfred Zellner have led the organization; Heritage Auctions Europe is the main sponsor.
