encuma Handels GmbH, based in Tainach, Carinthia, is an Austrian company that distributes materials for laser engraving, laser cutting and mechanical engraving. The product range includes solid wood (e.g. Swiss stone pine), veneer, plywood, MDF, laser leather, acrylic and laser acrylic, felt, anodized aluminium and laser paper. The four-person team (Seppi, Alex, Herwig and Matthias) brings years of experience with engraving machines and the materials used with them. Dissatisfaction with the quality and prices of existing engraving materials led to the founding of the company with the goal of ensuring consistently high quality. Only materials that have been tested by the company itself are distributed; the range is continuously expanded. The materials are sourced from the European region wherever possible. Small quantities and short delivery times are part of the offering, complemented by a laser material subscription to save on shipping costs as well as a guide and blog on the subject of laser engraving materials.
