About Endless Garden

Endless Garden develops and produces greening stones for the de-sealing and greening of house-edge strips along sidewalks, driveways and squares. The paving stones are made using geopolymer technology: the concrete is cement-free, reuses construction rubble and, according to the manufacturer, emits around 80% less CO2 than conventional concrete. The product range comprises sizes S1 (10 × 25 × 25 cm) and S2 to S6 (each 8 × 25 × 25 cm) for different plant species, from mosses and cushion plants to small shrubs. The service offering ranges from consulting and feasibility assessment (comparable to a pre-building enquiry) via an on-site appointment and quotation through to implementation including de-sealing, substructure, installation of the stones and soil treatment with biochar. The stones are low-maintenance, durable and can be removed at any time. Initial implementations are taking place in Stuttgart, funded by the Stuttgart Climate Innovation Fund; there, the first pavement in Germany with a permanent city permit for redesigning the house-edge strip was realized. Target groups are municipalities, private property owners as well as businesses and institutions such as shops and houses.
