EnergieForum Deutschland (EFD) is a service provider specialized in energy procurement and energy management for the real estate and housing industry in Germany. The company acts as an intermediary and interface between property management companies and energy suppliers, handling all tasks arising in the course of energy supply: from rule-compliant tendering of electricity and gas supplies to energy data management, clarification of outstanding issues, and billing. Its customers include nearly 1,000 property management companies across Germany with more than 10,000 properties. EFD works exclusively with large, reputable and solidly financed energy suppliers that procure on a back-to-back basis. Via the online platform SCABU, property managers, commercial businesses and energy brokers can additionally tender electricity and gas at wholesale prices; since June 2021, RLM meters with load profile data are also supported. SCABU is a member of BDEB e.V. and BVI e.V.
