ENERGY GLAS GmbH was founded in 2007 and has been a member of the SCHOLLGLAS corporate group since early 2018. At the Wolfhagen site, on the grounds of a former barracks near Kassel, around 80 employees manufacture insulating glass in a highly automated process. An ESG line with special equipment enables the toughening of single-pane safety glass from a material thickness of just 2 millimetres. The product range covers flat glass of all kinds, in particular for building envelopes and interiors. The service portfolio ranges from consulting and specification of technical glass properties, through sample production and manufacturing, to glass logistics with its own delivery fleet and technically identical reproduction in the event of damage. Customers come from industries such as facade and window construction, interior fitting, greenhouse construction, shop fitting and trade fair construction, furniture and household appliance manufacturing, as well as rail and special-purpose vehicle construction.
