ENERGYHAUS GmbH, based in Witten, is the provider of the TecSolaris system, an integrated solar roof for new buildings and roof renovations. Here, the PV modules themselves form the outer roof covering instead of being mounted as an add-on system on the roof; roof covering and photovoltaics are combined in one system. The solution offers around 200 Wp per square meter, a walkable roof surface, individually replaceable modules, intelligent rear ventilation, and a shingled module arrangement that supports water drainage and self-cleaning of the surface. The offering includes roof inspection for new construction, roof renovation, and energy-efficient modernization, installation, individual module replacement, and maintenance. A partner network is available for roofing companies to offer TecSolaris themselves. A reference project in Bochum with 340 m² of roof area and 60 kWp of installed capacity has been in operation since November 2023.
