Enerquip develops and manufactures trash rack cleaning machines (Norwegian: Grindrensker) for water intakes of hydropower plants. The solutions keep the trash rack free of leaves, branches, ice and debris, reduce head losses and ensure a stable water flow to the turbine – this increases availability and power generation. The company offers a broad range of machine sizes and types (including FRØYA, LOKE, ODIN, THOR, BRAGE, BALDER) as well as stationary and mobile solutions with rail travel or monorail, electric or hydraulic drive, automated operation, camera and sensor monitoring, winter equipment and custom designs. In addition to design and production, Enerquip handles installation, service and upgrades throughout the entire life cycle, including maintenance contracts and an emergency standby service 365 days a year.
