Engelbert Sellmaier Feinwerktechnik GmbH is a family business founded in 1968 and based in Bischofswiesen in the Berchtesgadener Land region, manufacturing fine-mechanical components, assemblies and systems in small and medium-sized series. The portfolio includes measuring and pointer mechanisms for pressure and temperature measurement as well as flow and level measurement, pressure gauge mechanisms and accessories, small gearboxes, gear components such as spur gears, gear sectors, pinion and gear discs, spline shafts and axles, as well as metal-plastic composite parts. Automatic turned parts with diameters from 1 to 14 mm are produced on CNC Swiss-type and ring turning machines; in addition, stamped, bent and formed parts are manufactured, including in-house toolmaking. Production is carried out according to customer drawings or in-house specifications, including design, assembly development, assembly and final inspection according to the inspection plan. Around 80 employees produce in two production halls at the headquarters; customers come primarily from Germany and Austria as well as the Salzburg region.
