About Arens Motors
ARENS MOTORS is the brand of Berlin-based ENGINEme GmbH, specializing in combustion engines that are smaller, lighter and lower in emissions than established powertrains. The company develops the RVI boxer engine platform as a two-stroke direct-injection engine without camshaft, valve tappets, oil sump or oil changes, as well as its own high-pressure injection pump for injector and atomizer systems. Derived from the platform are complete marine propulsion systems such as RVI SAIL 15 and RVI SHAFT 15 (engine, mounting base and saildrive as an overall system weighing 45 kg), as well as the SYPROP 16 kW parallel hybrid and range-extender solutions. Fields of application include recreational boats, small land, air and water vehicles, plug-in hybrid powertrains and mobile generators; the engines feature electronic interfaces for IoT connectivity. The company's roots go back to a precision mechanics workshop founded in 1961; in addition to engine development, the firm offers hydraulic and injection technology as well as technical services. Locations are the headquarters in Berlin-Reinickendorf and the historic operational site in Berlin-Weißensee.
