About engionic Fiber Optics
engionic Fiber Optics GmbH (until 2022 Loptek GmbH) has been designing and manufacturing custom fiber-optic light guide solutions, components and fiber-optic sensors at its Berlin-Adlershof site since 1992. The product portfolio includes fiber assembly of plastic, glass and fused silica fibers with cable lengths of up to approx. 100 meters, cross-section converters with slit widths from 100 µm, transmission and reflection probes, medical probes for NIR spectroscopy, vacuum feedthroughs, and Fiber Bragg Grating sensors (FBG) for temperature and strain including calibration from -40 °C to 700 °C. FBG gratings are processed as fs-laser-inscribed gratings from the sister company engionic Femto Gratings GmbH. In its own precision mechanics department, precision parts and light guide accessories such as lens holders, air-cooled lances and pressure barriers are manufactured on CNC and conventional turning and milling machines. Joining processes include bonding, crimping and laser welding. The company supports industrial customers from prototype development through series production to continuous optimization and is part of the engionic Group.
