About ENGIRO
ENGIRO GmbH, based in Aachen, develops and manufactures highly efficient electric motors, generators and complete e-traction systems consisting of motor, inverter and cable harness. The power range of the modular drive components extends from 5 kW to 600 kW continuous power with around 150 motor variants. ENGIRO covers the entire value chain: from design studies through electromagnetic FEM simulation (ANSYS, Infolytica), mechanical and thermal optimization to series production and commissioning of the motor controllers on its own test benches. Drive concepts include fully electric, hybrid and regenerative systems as well as range-extender solutions for two-wheelers and compact vehicles. Customers are system integrators and OEMs in the fields of construction and construction machinery, municipal vehicles, buses and trucks, agricultural and special vehicles, marine, rail and ground support equipment. ENGIRO is the drive division of the HYDAC Group and manufactures tailor-made solutions in small and medium series at three sites in Aachen.
